Hi, I’m Ryley

Wife, mother, licensed cosmetologist, holistic facialist, and the creator of Terra botanical skincare. Of Earth Skin Studio brings together the two parts of my work that I love most: making skincare and caring for people in the treatment room.

Where it began

My journey with holistic wellness and skincare started in 2016. I was postpartum with my daughter and found aromatherapy to be helpful when I was struggling with postpartum anxiety. After paying closer attention to what I was putting on my skin and how my body responded, I realized how deeply connected our health is to the natural world around us. Herbs, oils and simple rituals became a part of my everyday life.

Long before Terra officially existed, I was creating products for myself, family and friends and sharing small batches with anyone who was interested. Creating became my outlet as a stay at home mom, a way to process what I was learning about holistic wellness. Making skincare always felt like a natural extension of nurturing those around me.

Terra + Of Earth

Terra is a reflection of everything I believe about skincare. It doesn't need to be complicated to be effective. Ancestral ingredients like herbs, botanicals and oils still hold immense value and caring for your skin can be both practical and deeply grounding.

Opening Of Earth gave me a way to bring that same care into the treatment room. The years I’ve spent formulating have shaped how I choose ingredients, support the skin barrier, and customize each facial. My treatments pair botanical skincare with restorative facial massage and an understanding that the skin, body, and nervous system are deeply connected. Our skin thrives when we work with it, not against it. 

Terra is now the house-made skincare line at Of Earth. You’ll find it here alongside other products I use in the studio and feel good about recommending, with facials and skincare together in one place.

What matters to me

I want women to feel comfortable caring for their skin as they naturally age, and teens to have a place to learn about their skin as it changes throughout the years. You don’t need to have perfect skin before you come in. My job is to meet your skin where it’s at, help you understand what it needs, and make space for you to feel cared for.

Outside of the studio

I am a wife and a mother, a Taurus sun and Cancer moon. Being in nature and near water has always been where I feel most alive and most inspired. I was born in sunny Florida near the coast, probably why I thrive in 80 degree weather and sunshine. Today, I reside in Middle Tennessee surrounded by rivers and the mountains with my husband, Lee, our three kids, two dogs and cat.
